SBIF Asha Scholarship Program-2024

The SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2024 is one of India’s most significant scholarship initiatives, brought forward by the SBI Foundation under its education mission, Integrated Learning Mission (ILM). Its primary objective is to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, ensuring that talented students can continue their education without financial barriers.

SBIF Asha Scholarship for School Students

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants should be studying in classes 6 to 12 during the current academic year.
A minimum of 75% marks is required in their previous academic year.
The total family income must not exceed INR 3,00,000 annually.

Scholarship Amount:

Each eligible student will receive INR 15,000.

Deadline: October 31, 2024

Additional Notes:

50% of the scholarships are reserved for female students.
Preference will be given to students from Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST).

SBIF Asha Scholarship for Undergraduate Students

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate degree from a premier institute ranked among the top 100 in the NIRF 2023 or 2024 rankings.
A minimum of 75% marks is required in their previous academic year.
The family’s gross annual income should not exceed INR 6,00,000.

Scholarship Amount:

Up to INR 50,000 per student.

Additional Notes:

Institutions recognized under this category include all NITs and those ranked in the top 100 of the NIRF 2023 and 2024 lists.
Students from families earning less than INR 3,00,000 will be prioritized.
50% of the slots are reserved for female students, with additional preference for SC and ST students.

SBIF Asha Scholarship for Postgraduate Students

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants should be enrolled in a postgraduate course from a premier university or college listed in the top 100 of the NIRF rankings.
A minimum of 75% marks in the previous academic year is required.
The family’s gross annual income should not exceed INR 6,00,000.

Scholarship Amount:

Up to INR 70,000 per student.

Deadline: October 31, 2024

Institutions from the top 100 NIRF universities and colleges, including NITs, are eligible.
Preference is given to students from families with a gross income of up to INR 3,00,000 per annum.
50% of the scholarships are reserved for female applicants, with preference for SC and ST students.

SBIF Asha Scholarship for IIT Students

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate course at an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
A minimum of 75% marks in the previous academic year is required.
The family’s gross annual income should not exceed INR 6,00,000.

Scholarship Amount:

Up to INR 2,00,000 per student.

Deadline: October 31, 2024

Preference will be given to students from families with an annual income below INR 3,00,000.
50% of the slots are reserved for female students, with additional preference for SC and ST categories.

SBIF Asha Scholarship for IIM Students

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be pursuing an MBA or PGDM program from an Indian Institute of Management (IIM).
A minimum of 75% marks in the previous academic year is required.
The family’s gross annual income should not exceed INR 6,00,000.

Scholarship Amount:

Up to INR 7,50,000 per student.
